Reinvest24 stopped paying interest on loans claiming payments were stopped to gather reserves for maintenance and repairs. General Loan Terms and Terms of Service are very specific about what the borrower or the platform can do and not do with the payments they receive from the renter. Stopping payment are not allowed hence the lawsuit.
Both the creditors and borrowers representatives have been in front of a judge to give statements. Court was held on 24.03.2026 where the judge gave the borrower a chance to explain why interest payment were stopped and why creditor claims to cancel the loan contract with the borrower RE24 Ahtri 6 OÜ were not honoured. Borrower was given a deadline to present additional evidence that proves borrowers claims and the creditor was allowed to respond to these statements. The case is now under review by the judge for a final judgement.
